I wanna climb in Sammy's cage and take a nap...
It's snowing here, for the first time in two years! I hate snow. It's cold and damp and icky. The kids are loving it--they're wet and pink-cheeked and having a blast. Me--I wanna climb in Sammy's 89 degree tank, hunker down under the aspen bedding, and sleep. :D Anyone else having dreams of balmy "weather"? :D

Oh to live on a tropical beach! I completely mock all of our new "disorders" they find every other second but I would so be diagnosed with "seasonal affective disorder."
GO WARM WEATHER!

Even here in florida, I hate the cold clammy weather that we do get. I've spent long hours in the herp room where its warmer.

I despise snow! It is pretty to look at, but it just makes driving so scary and hair-raising around here, especially with zero visibility.. Honestly though, if it weren't for traveling in it, I would love winter..

You've all got it pretty rough don't ya? Me... I'm lucky, it's supposed to get up to 0 degrees this weekend in my area! Since it's gonna be sooo warm here I'm thinking of opening the pool up a little early.

LOL Yeah. It's rough. Man, we had to deal with snow for a full 24 hours. There's actually a tiny bit still clinging in some cool micro-climates around the backyard. :zerb:
I lived in Iowa for three years. There's a darn good reason we live in NC, and I think you can probably guess what it is. :D

I think my avatar says it all...I HATE WINTER! Far too many years of living in the "great white north" so I've had about all the winter wonderland I'll ever need in this lifetime. Soon as the kids are raised, I'm moving to Arizona and refusing to ever think about boots, snowsuits, frozen toes and snow shovels again! :D

Jo, I'm with you! If Christie dear moves to Florida (come on powers that be!), my husband is actually talking about moving too! I'm way psyched!

PS - Hey Jo! I haven't said hi in forever! Congrats on Mikey's new little "Buddy"! Hope all is well with the family!

I have often thought of how nice it'd be to be a ball python.. a life that requires no work, 90% of your time spent relaxing in a nice warm hide spot.. maybe do a little breeding on the side.. heck, even the females that lay eggs usually don't have to worry about incubating them, much less raising kids.. I know what i wanna be reincarnated as!

Hiya Wendy dear! How's the little one doing? How's the family adjusting to a new little person in the midst? (can you tell I'm a baby luvin goofball LOL...they are just so darn cute and they smell so good...ack...time to lock myself in the bathroom till the "I want another baby" drive goes away LOL). Imagine moving to a place where there is no snow.....lordy but that sounds good right now here in frozen Ohio!

Bite your tongue. I'm still holding out for anywhere between PA and SC, but we all know how much choice I get in where we move. Plus I kinda miss the snow.

Things are great! The baby is the easiest one out of the bunch. Very laid back unless he's tired or hungry...and he is the most awesome cuddler in the world (though so are both the other ones too I suppose!). Niko LOVES his little brother and is great with him...sings him songs, explains how his toys work and all the cool stuff they'll do when he can walk and talk. Kiele is a little fierce in her love...gotta make sure she doesn't squeeze the stuffing out of him when she hugs him!
I hope you stay warm up there!
Re: I wanna climb in Sammy's cage and take a nap...
Awww that brings back memories of my three older ones when they were babies together. Katie was my little momma child who always wanted to help with Luke and Beth. Luke was very impressed with Beth until she walked at 9 months and dared to touch his toys...then the war was on LOL. We did have to watch Luke as he was only 2 and wanted badly to pick up the baby (Beth) by himself. By the time Mikey came along so many years later the older three were all great helpers with him and it was more about explaining to them he wasn't to be constantly passed around and did need to be let alone sometimes LOL.
