There are some nice pictures here! I like #8, and #13. Both are in focus and framed well.

I personally like 5 and 13 but I voted 5! The irredescence on that Pastel's head was captured perfectly! To whomever took that picture...Great Job! ;)

I remember when this contest was nothing but really good looking normals ... you could go months and months here and maybe see a pastel ... now look at it!! ... Amazing! ... It's a testament to how strong the ball python market is! :sweeet:

I really liked #6 and #13--I voted #13 :)

#6 looks like he's rolled himself up to go on a trip "Keep your head and tail inside the vehicle at all times!"

and #13 looked like he was constricting himself and not quite sure how to un-wind :D Too cute!

But really beautiful snakes, all!

I think this gets harder every month...... They are all great, 5-10-13...... Ugh, I went with 13... but it was sooooooooooo not EZ! Congrats on on the great photos everyone!!!! :sunny:

No doubt Adam! I've noticed this even in the short time I've been here. I almost miss that though... it used to be all about the picture, now I get the feeling some months an entry will win simply because it's a zingin looking morph, not so much that it was a good pic. But everyone has their own voting criteria...some will vote for the best looking snake, some will vote for the best photo, and some will just vote for a snake that belongs to a friend... I personally vote on the best photo, and I almost always choose a "normal" if I can help it...normals need love too! ;) And I'd hate to see anyone think that they need a morph to compete, cause that would suck ;)

Darn that spread it around ... I'm all about the normal love too ... morphs are so prevelant these days we should almost have a BPOM and a BPMorphOM.

I was going to suggest something along those lines as well, a BPOM (best looking Ball Python, maybe having two sub categories, best "wild type" and best Morph. Photo skills mean nothing here) and maybe BPPOM ( this would be the best PHOTO of a Ball Python, any type, photo skills are at a premium) but that sounds like it would be alot of work for the Admins, and I dont like making work for people LOL

But it would be cool, it would be really nice to get some of the people involved that stay away from the BPOM to give the others a chance, or whatever reason, either becuse they have mad photo skills, or they have crazy morphs....... just a thought

I think that we should also have a best looking free day "canidate" ... but that's just me. ;) :P

Verrrry difficult for me to choose - came down to between 2 and 13 - but there's something real cute about how No.2 is holding his/her head and posing - great photography!

For anybody who is curious, #6 is actually a normal. She looks kinda like a yellowbelly, but I got her as a normal. She's my shyest ball python.

I love the shot of #13 though, pastel or normal, it'd still be a great shot :)
