They are adorable. Are these feeders or are they for sale as pets?

Eventually maybe both. I just purchased these to start a colony of breeders. ;)

HAHA, they do look like a cross between a possum, rat and a mouse. They are some hoppy little buggers. They definitely love to chew. The breeder told me to keep a chunk of wood in there for them to nibble on. I looked at the wood this morning and you can already tell where they were chewing on it.

They'll chew them fingers too if you give the chance.

So far noone has even tried to bite me. The breeder said they are the worse when trying to mess with babies. So far, so good. Of course, I don't try to cuddle with them. I have mice and rats that will occasionally try to bite when taking babies, I'm getting pretty quick. ;)

so i only just noticed this thread now, but cute rats whether feeders or pets, and yeah dune reference (Akiva)... sorry I just got really excited that someone mentioned dune because I thought that i'm the only person who enjoys that. Anyway sorry for the off topic post. Nice rats!

I know they are feeders, but I have to say you got some nice colorations. I have never seen a caramel colored one before!!!!! cool!
