atb and new setup

This is my atb in his new enclosure. What do you guys think? Obviously going to need to make a slightly bigger enclosure as he gets bigger, but its doing a nice job for now I think. He really likes the hammock at the top.

Wow, cool looking setup! These guys don't grow too fast, so you should be able to keep him there for a while. Looks like he has lots of stuff to keep him entertained. :) Does he use that hide on the bottom?

He does use the hide at the bottom. He hangs out all over the place. :)
It is warmer at the bottom so I think he goes down to warm up. I still need to make a few adjustments on heating I think. It is about 87 on floor and 78 up in the branches and hammock...

not bad at all! I'm curious to see more pics of the enclosure, what is it made out of? I have a neo I got at the end of the summer and dressed up a small sterilite tub.

The enclosure is a holiday tub from kmart for $10. They work perfectly because the lid is hinged so it works just like a door. I think they are seasonal so hurry if you are going to get one: http://www.kmart.com/catalog/product...categoryId=515

The perches are pvc that I torched and coated in poly acrylic to prevent mold. I put the perches up using closet rod hangers. They have them at Home Depot.

Threw in a few plastic plants and a hammock both of which you can get at most pet stores. Put in a digital thermometer/hydrometer. I am using a heating pad to heat it, but I also have it in my "snake room" which has a space heater running 24/7 to get my ambient temps right.

Oh and don’t forget the handy dandy humidifier we have in the do it yourself section. Those things are great. I like them because you can use fewer air holes in your enclosure because you have the fresh are pushing out the old. You will keep your humidity high while preventing stagnant air and mold. I highly recommend them.

So anywho, assuming you have none of these items on hand, you will end up spending 60-70 bucks making it. Not too shabby all things considered.

oh and the side mounted water dish you can get at most pet stores too. I think they are made for bird cages but it worked out quite nicely really.

Nifty enclosure - I'd love to see more pictures of it, especially with something in there for size reference. =)
