    how addicting...
so, i just moved my BCI into a display tank, and that means i have an empty tub. Well nothing should go to waste, right?

anyways, what do you think i should get to fill the void? I want a female suriname, but they will get too big for me to handle, and i dont want to have to give a snake away because i couldn't properly care for them! I was thinking about a corn snake, but i am not a fan of snakes without a real head (like BP and BCIs actually have heads, corns and milks are kind of lacking. lol). Then i thought about scorpians, but i would want to move them into a display eventually, and then i'll still have an empty tub.
    so, any suggestions?
    Thanks a ton everybody!!

Get a well started hognose. They are fun when they eat and are handled enough. I know the one we have at Phoenix Herp Soceity is a spaz but mine are calm. I dont hold the male as he has refused meals for almost a month, so of course, he is also a spaz. I dont know what you think about viper boas. Iv heard they are really cool.

i dont really know anything about viper boas, so ill have to do some research. I was thinking of a cuban boa, but they get around 14+ ft, so i changed my mind. lol. i not a huge hognose fan, they are so funny looking. haha. i've really surprised myself at how picky i am.

well thats the thing. i dont know if i want a snake, a scorpian, a python, a boa, a spider (can you keep a spider in a tub?), etc. etc. i do know if i get another BP its going to be either a normal or one in a similar price range, otherwise i would just go and order a mojave. or maybe i should save my money and get one.... we'll see.....

Don't you have to get rid of one of your animals if you want another?

I thought the rule in your house was that you had to get rid of an animal before getting a new one.

I dont now anything about spiders at all. I also dont know the rules to your house. So if you are able to buy something, buy what you like, not what we like.

Once critters come into my house - I never want to get rid of them - one of the reasons I'm wary of breeding ...

Ack. If that is the rule then I'd hold off on getting another anything to just fill that empty tub. Impulse buying is easy to do, but you have to think.... do you really want to have to get rid of someone just to get another something to just take it's place? I see it like this... if that is the case then you are just going to have a empty tank/cage/tub/whatever from whoever you deside to get rid of. In the end you'll still have something sitting aside to "fill up".

I'd just sit back and enjoy the animals you have now. Wait a while and in that time save up your money on something that you *really really really* want. It will be worth the wait, effort, and time in the end. :)

thats pretty much the rule, but rules can be bent too. lol we'll see what i decide on, if it is a scorpian, or another Leo, im sure my dad will be fine because they eat the same thing, and i usually end up throwing out some crickets anyways (they come in a box of 30, and they die before my leo eats them all). He doesnt want me to have more because he doesn't want the burdon of another animal, as long as it is not a burdon to him, and i can proove that, i'll be good to go.
