Re: Nobody Has To Work Anymore!!!!
I am sorry, I know that sucks. I had my house broken into years ago. I knew who did it though. They never paid us back. But anyway, have you called the police and got finger prints and things like that?

Majority of insurance companies no longer cover items stolen when your car is broking into. They will somehow make it your fault for IE. parking on the street ,in your driveway(we got this excuse) or at a shopping mall.Dont bother calling the police and expecting more then a report, even if you see a fingerprint or evidence. When our car got broken into the idiot cop said they dont bother looking for fingerprints anymore.I pointed to the plain as day fingerprint and he said maybe its yours .I told him to give me my report and go eat some doughnuts :8: . O if your insurance company does pay anything it wont be much.We lost $1000+ stereo stuff that included cd(a bunch) and they gave us $5 for each cd .Sorry it happened to you.

Re: Nobody Has To Work Anymore!!!!
Thank you everyone for your support! My first post was edited.........i just want to say im sorry for my language.......i might have taken it overboard......
i did get a police report, and they did take a fingerprint .....i don't know how far it will go but i guess it's a start......
i will not file a claim with my insurance company, because they won't cover anything, and i'll end up paying more money in the end..........
thanks once again

Re: Nobody Has To Work Anymore!!!!
Sorry that happened to you! A few years ago, someone broke into all the Ford Explorers in my apartment complex that had after market stereos. I went out to walk Diamond, and had to rush back in to let Karl know that his Explorer had been broken into. The police were rather busy that day, took a report, dusted for fingerprints and his insurance cut him a nice check the same day.
Doesn't matter though, the fact that someone feels somehow entitled to YOUR property is enraging and definitely feels like a personal violation, even though it isn't personal.
I had my tag stolen off my car by a guy who lived in my building, but on the back side, where I never went. One day about a month later I was at the mailbox and saw a car identical to mine drive by (I'm sure we all notice cars that are identical to ours more than others). Well, when he drove by, I recognized the tag number, and he realized I had. I called 911, but he left before they arrived, they told me to call back later.
Went to the office to let them be aware and ask who rented the apartment (he had backed in, and knowing some of the other neighbors it was easy to narrow it down). While we were outside talking, he drove up to the security gate, and I pointed and said "there he is!" He saw me point and backed out of there and screeched off.
I told her, that's ok - I'll get him. Waited until after dark, looked when I was walking Diamond, saw his car was back, and called 911 again. They got there before he was able to leave and once confirmed he had stolen tags on his car, surrounded his car with a bunch of their cars, and got into his car - he had mail with ten different names all to his address, and ID's with his photo for each of them. Since they didn't have a warrant, and he wouldn't come to the door, they couldn't arrest him that day, but it gave me great satisfaction to watch them leave with his car on the back of a tow truck! I believe they arrested him a few days later.

WOW. now thats bold.......the same complex.......the cop that took my report seems to think that whoever did it, lives in my complex, and i agree......sucks........everytime i see somebody walking in the complex, i'm staring at them, i think everyone had something to do with it......this sucks

Re: Nobody Has To Work Anymore!!!!
we had a downstairs renter steal a credit card out of our mail box... and then go a few blocks away and try to use it. the guy had a huge dragon tattoo on his neck... so they had a very good description. how stupid eh? stealing your neighbours card, like we wouldn't recognize his description LOL
remember my mantra folks "you can't fix stupid!"

Re: Nobody Has To Work Anymore!!!!
I haven't had that happen to me, but something like. I was going into the grocery store while at college and parked my car in the parking lot, not far from the entrance. When I got back to my car after shopping, I see a giant hole where a buggy had smashed into my rear breaklight. It was windy that night, but not near enough to smash the red plastic that covers the light bulb. That stuff is thick and doesn't break easily. Not a wind-blown buggy anyway. I think someone purposefully smashed the cart into it. I did have a rather controversial bumpersticker in a rather conservative town. It cost me $100+ to get a new one.
There are some stupid people in the world. Only out to take what you have and to make your life harder.

You'd be surprised how easily it does break. I accidentally ran a buggy into my own car, not even going that fast and broke my red cover one time. Not saying that someone didn't do it intentionally to you, just that from my personal experience, it didn't take much force to break mine, but rather a certain angle.

Re: Nobody Has To Work Anymore!!!!
And I was pissed that my car got egg'd last night...guess that's pretty minor compared to what happened to your car  ...sorry to hear it...
