    Few fun pics from today...
Caught a few in the act after cleaning the rat room today...

This cool little girl was an extremely slow starter 66% Possible Het. Albino from 2002. As she grew I could tell she was Paradox. She laid eggs last year and they all went bad...crossing our fingers this year..

I can never catch this lesser male with my camera, he was locked with her when we got to the shop and by the time we were done cleaning the rats...he was finished...

    Thanks for all the comments.

I tend not to handle/ jostle my animals too much during breeding so if a shed is bad I leave what I cannot quickly remove. I cycle my humidity from 30-40% with spikes of 80+% throughout the season. During the cycles it usually takes care of itself.

One more for the road...special male and a Caramel female...

One reason he's probably getting dry shed's like that is the rack's he's using. There is a lot of ventilation. Some people have taken to covering most of the screen on top of the racks on the Freedom Breeder and similar racks. Otherwise you tend to get dry shed's often. I can understand not wanting to get in there and pull it off when you want to make sure they breed though.
