Heck Yeah!!!

Well excuse me but I'm back in the game... I've been spinning records since i was 14 and moved back home to do my thing here in Tampa, FL. I have spun in a few clubs in YBor city, Downtown Tampa, a few house parties including the birthday party of Rachel Hilfiger (omg! it was rediculous)...

...ANyways, i had to part with my turntables (tear) for a couple months when I moved into my apartment due to all of the moving expenses Ah! lol
but I just got them back last weekend and I have an audition tomorrow for club Paradise..which use to be owned by anthony santoro formally named club hedo...well anyways, It's a girls gone wild hotspot! When I spun in Ybor before it seemed like every other week or so the girls gone wild bus was pulling up unloading chicks and all kinds of pandemonium... Well tomorrow @ 1pm I am going to unleash the freakin fury on a pair of Technic's SL-1200's lol...

I'm so excited I can easily expect $300-$500 a night...
( I love djing, getting paid to party! what more could you ask for!?)
And you know what that means!!! More expensive and rediculous ball python morphs! haha I'm loving it... I'm the only DJ going for the job and honostly I almost wish there were more because I'm a battle DJ. I cut, scratch, continuous mix, beat juggle spin behind the back thru the legs...all that crazy madness lol...

Well I don't know what else to say... But wow! I'm back in the game! haha!
The club opens up the 18th of this month! ANybody in the area is welcome to come check me out! I've already talked about alot of other aspects with the owner and so far I'll be promoting/DJ'ing so I'll be able to get all of my friends in free and of course theres the Free VIP for a select few!

Anyways, I'll let everyone know how it went monday when I come back from my vacation..

Thanks! I'm in sales right now and even though I'm good at it and do alright it's not what makes me happy. DJ'ing and Ball Pythons are my true passion... :D

I just can't wait to buy a really sick morph now lol... Now that I'll have the money to buy almost whatever lol... the DJ money is really just extra $$$
So... I don't know... Thinkin I might go with a couple of double hets...

Of course I'm also going to have to invest more money in DJ'ing... I'll probably drop $200-$300 on records before the grand opening night... When your djing man...you gotta have all the new stuff... especially when your in the club...but it's so fun though... I buy mostly singles on 12" vinyl so I can mix like say a 2pac acapella over an outkast beat or something... I love doing mashups...


I've also done what I call question and answer... With someone who's really sick on a electric guitar... iT sounds awesome! I let them start off like a 5 to 10 second solo and then I answer back with a similiar sounding beat of their rythem but in a sick scratch! while having a live drummer in the background...ok I gotta calm down here... Getting a little excited lol... :D

Well, IT went awesome... I went down to Ybor around 1pm saturday and setup shop to audition...I spun some Hip Hop, Breaks, Trance, House, Reggae, Reggaetone... It honostly couldn't have gone better! I had purchased $210 in vinyl records friday night ( Had to re-up on some new stuff) and brought it down to the club with me.

He was real impressed... They were working on the interior of the club while I audition and everybody was jamming it was alot of fun. Everybody went crazy when I mixed journey with pitbull lol...

He's working on a schedule right now and my girlfriend is designing flyers... I'm pretty much DJ/Promoter as I thought... It'll be fun though... I know alot of people in Tampa and it's always fun going to the mall or the beach promoting.
