Leucistic balls...

How much are leucistic balls worth? Also if i bred them would any one buy them.(in around 2 years).

They are worth a lot. There are not many getting sold that I know of. There might be more getting bred in the next couple years, but who knows.

Their pure white some have blue eyes others have black eyes.

The price is high I have seen blue lucys with a price tag of $150,000.

it all depends on what people want! Some people could sell anything! You have to build slow. Your not going to get rich quick! you have to love the animal first! learn how to run small business, have customer service skills, and then go from there! if you love what your doing, and it comes out in your animals, people will be knocking on your door non stop! you won't have to find them.........thats when you know you have made it, and you have done well with what you LOVE!

Money comes last-----if at all!

I think you could move them. Could you get $150K each? Ehh... I kind of doubt it if it will be 2 years. But you could sell them. People can sell normals. Those will not be 'common' even 2 years from now I don't think. Search around, see how many luetistics were sold this year.

Do you already own fires or do you plan on purchasing a pair of fires and gets your lucys from them?

I plan on purchasing fires.

If you are plannning on buying the snakes and breeding them for money you are going to be disapointed. You have to be preparred to keep the snakes for a long time in order to sell them.

That's kind of like saying "I'm going to start a construction company, will anyone hire me to build them stuff?" ... The only real answer that anyone should give you is ... "that's up to you" ... if you going to sell snakes, then you are going to operate a business ... there is no business in the world (except maybe for that guy in texas that makes the gold grills) where customers just throw their money at you and you don't have to do anything to get it ... businesses take work ... selling ANYTHING takes work ... marketing, advertising, etc ... That's why 90% of every business started fails in the first year, because people don't have any idea what it takes to make a business successful.

If you're asking if there is a market for high end ball pythons, the answer is yes ... there are lots of people making very good money selling these animals ... if you're asking if there is a strong future for high end ball pythons, in my opinion there is, as the market grows and ball python mutations become easier to afford for the average person, the demand will increase. If you're asking if you personally will have success breeding and selling snakes ... well, that's completely up to you.

I think worth trying, if you have the $$$ for a fire-couple than this will pay at least back from the first eggs hatching. Leucistics will always be very wanted animals.

I say breed what you like and have fun with it. Be 100% honest with people!! Start off small and build as you get a good name for your self .If you are going to try your hand at breeding try a cheaper morph first and let the sales from them pay for your high end . Just because you have a sexed pair dos not mean that you will get babies there is more work in breeding any reptile that one mite think .just my two cents worth . :sunny:
