Re: Your Breeding Temps??
I have not changed temps at all, and currently have two out of two couples locked up. I just rotate them, giving them a few days to rest in seperate tubs again and/or have a meal, then I reintroduce them and get another lock..

I also do not change my temps and i have produced clutches 2yrs so far.My pastel male Bruno has bred Elvira & Lilly numerous times  .Of course he gets 3 days rest between girls.
Re: Your Breeding Temps??
I'm chilling them for 2-3 days with zero hot spots.
same room temps though

Larry have you produced clutches using this method? Not doubting you just wondering :) .
Re: Your Breeding Temps??
No sir, this is my first year breeding. I've heard of breeders cycling short extreme temps both hot and cold to spark some breeding action. Things are a little slow around here so I'm giving it a try.

Ok let me know if you produce clutches using this method as its new to me.
Re: Your Breeding Temps??
There is no need to change temps..
Re: Your Breeding Temps??
I guess that if mine were not exhibiting any breeding behavior, I would look into temp changing as a way to maybe instigate breeding?
Re: Your Breeding Temps??
I've been following the temperatures as listed in Adam's journal on the 8ball pythons website.
Re: Your Breeding Temps??
Sorry if this is already been told, but i believe the usual temperatures are fine. As for the eggs i think you should incubate them instead of natural care, its too risky.
Re: Your Breeding Temps??
I've been following Adam's breeding calendar as well, but not dropping the temps so low at night(94 hot side 24/7, 84 cool side for 12 hours and 78 for 12 hours). I have 2 females in that rack that aren't big enough this year(they will be moved soon), as well as the smallish male that will hopefully be breeding, so I sure don't need to stress anyone out. They're all still eating like pigs, so I guess that's a good thing :)
