I'm actually 16. I never really liked tobacco. I got started smoking weed occasionally and it turned into more of a habbit. I've been off it for almost 4 months now and I plan to stay off it!!! Its wierd though, its so much easier to get drugs than tobacco or even alcohol.

    1. Find a better job that doesn't treat me like crap.
    2. Get paid more at this better job when I find it.
    3. Finally finish the baby/juvie Ball rack, and start on another one in case the two females I'm breeding give me eggs.
    4. Successfully get these 2 female Balls bred, get fertile eggs, hatch them out, and have a good ratio of Pastels and females.
    5. Buy a good-quality yellowbelly male at NARBC in February, and maybe a Hypo boa male for Sonja.

I don't know what else, but I'm sure this will be updated with something :)

Not really.......I need to concentrate on growing up what I have already and prepare to get babies on the ground next year.......so that means alot of money spent towards enclosures, etc.......and I bought a pair of Childrens pythons yesterday (New Year's Eve...LOL....squeezed something in before the resolution started)......also, I am starting to get back into aquariums since we now have a perminant residence ;)

(...and there is one reptile exception......dwarf monitors....the rarer ones that are never available....if I can get some v. kingorums or v. caudolineatus....nothing is going to stop me :D)

Good for you for kicking the habits; they are a waste of money and time, as well as energy! It usually takes people years of bad experiences to quit, if they ever do.. there's no point in yellin at you for having vices if you want to quit!

    My resolutions are:
-To plan this wedding and get the most out of the whole experience!
-To do more things w/ Marky (easier in the summer when parks, etc. are more accessible; though we have alot of planning to do!
-To finally breed/hatch some Pastel BP hatchlings, and maybe a few Spiders..
-To get some training into our poor horses; they basically loaf around now, though it is so muddy that in my defense, there is no safe footing at this time (where is the snow and frozen ground?)
-To spend more time with my little niece; I want to be more recognizable to her, not just someone she sees a few times a year.
-Trying to eat better; though I am not a fan of depriving myself when I am working a lot and burning it off..
To finally design and get my next tattoo (a portrait of my horse Cuesta) on my arm.

    The main resolution is:

    1)Cook at home more
    2)Exercise more

1 & 2 = getting in shape and losing weight. I made the same resolution last year and failed miserably on the cooking at home. I lost weight, but it was mostly an end result of tonsillitis and gall bladder issues. Right now I'd like to keep some of the weight off and not gain it all back.

so here's a little something fun to add to this thread. how did you do with your resolutions from last year? i copied mine over from this old thread: http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=27218

    things i resolve(d) to do in 2006:
    • rearrange the herp room (again) so that i can fit in more racks - COMPLETED!
    • build some of those racks myself - does have father-in-law build them for you count?
    • get a new job - COMPLETED!
    • pay off some bills (ack) - COMPLETED! (huge sigh of relief)
    • produce my first ever bp babies - COMPLETED! :D
    • read, in its entirety, the novel written by my best friend (i'm not so good at reading) - failed. friend didn't finish revising the novel. :(
    • talk my husband into getting a tattoo (we NEED matching tattoos ) - failed. (added to this year's list :P)
    • make lots and lots of gecko babies! - COMPLETED! :sunny:

things i resolve(d) NOT to do in 2006:
    • spend more money on herps than i can actually afford - hmm, that could be a matter of opinon...
    • stop drinking caffeine (tried it, succeeded, then failed. i NEED it dangit!) - BIG time FAIL. :pepsi:
    • hold back too many crested gecko babies for the sole reason that they are cute ( :gulp: ) - COMPLETED! i was so very good. i think i deserve to add a few more to the collection to reward myself. :)
