purity of hog island - DUW

well, it's been awhile since i shared any pics of drake. i'd love to hear from jamie and april as to their thoughts on his purity.

i thought i'd add some photos of sabrina as well... since both her and drake were hanging out on my hubby last night.

well... here's they are: (note both snakes are in each photo)

drake is a hog island boa and sabrina is a suri RTB

drake and sabrina's patterns... drake is the lighter of the two.

if you are referring to adam and my balls... we are still waiting on the CITES. ;) and then of course my hubby has to build our rack... which he keeps saying he's starting on tomorrow... (if tomorrow would only come LOL)

btw, drake is a 2005 baby... and sabrina is a year and a half old. (DOB July 2005)

I think you should just have Adam send them over to my house. ;) They'd be intimidated by those big brutes. :giggle:

where it was determined that he was a cross... i can tell by looking at jamie's hog that drake is in fact, still waaayyyy too saddled to be a pure. oh well... i hoped in the bottom of my heart that we were all wrong and he was pure... but alas... no. i guess he'll never be a daddy... :(

and christie... i just LOVE my boas. really do love them... but if i had to choose and could only keep one of my snakes... i'd keep dexter... my ball. he's just sooo sweet and relaxed compared to these two. LOL

In my opinion he is a cross but he is awesome! Don't get hung up on it though. You ended up with a great snake! Rock on!

Still looks like a cross to me too, but he is a beaut! I really like how he's maturing. :)

thanks april :) he's the sweetest boy. we had him out for over an hour with company and he was sooo sweet with everyone. no a hiss out of him LOL

He's better behaved than mine. Diva hisses and Calisto likes to bite. :)

well neither of them has ever bitten or even striked at anyone... although little miss sabrina will strike repeatedly at the sides of her enclosure until you leave the room when you feed her. so i just feed her last and dash out of the room LOL

he only hisses when you go to put him back into his enclosure... as he'd love to just live in the house without any restraint LOL but when he's out and about... he's a happy boy!

I'd have to agree that he's a cross, but you really can't compare any hogg to Jamie's. His is way to exceptional for a comparison. Many, Many hoggs do not look that clean and light. His is rare one.

oooh i didn't know that. i do know that i fell in love with jamie's hog.

Well, cross or not... he's Gorgeous!!! So is the Suri!! I HEART BOAS!!!! They are my first love.... Really, they are both stunning! :sunny:
