Totalled my bike..Do'h!

Yup, I totalled my CBR tonight. I lost concentration for 2 seconds, didnt see some stopped cars in front of me, locked the rear wheel up, and dropped it doing about 45. Somehow, i slid inbetween the 2 stopped lanes of traffic, and managed not to hit anything at all. My bike didn't fare so well, however, and slammed into the back of a caravan, and wedged itself under the van.

I don't think I'm gonna ride again. This is the 2nd wreck in 5 months. First one was when a deer ran into the side of me.

This one almost killed me....and I don't think I want to tempt fate a 3rd and most likely final time...

Sorry to hear that ntrent1. But like Joe said, at least you're ok! That's the most important thing!

if u still want to ride, you should get a stunt cage... to preserve the bike atleast. I like cbr's... u dont have to give up, just concentrate more lol, but im glad to hear ur ok!

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear about your loss... Well until you feel up to riding again theres a great game for ps2 called Tourist Trophy...made by the same people that made all of the gran turismo series... Glad to hear your ok though

He has the money to pay for surgery. Be safe and save your money for Ball Pythons. Besides, you'll probably save a ton of money on car insurance if you take your bike off your policy.

i support you in this decision as you know yourself better than anyone else does. it's good to hear you are safe...

Whoa; I am glad you're ok.. maybe it is time to step back and take inventory on the things you do.. in some cases, I would say to try again, but I guess only time will tell if you want to do that or not. Glad you're ok :)

I honestly don't know what i want to do yet.. I know for now though, I'm done with it.

i did the same thing a couple of months ago----but only i locked up my front wheel----i have an 06 cbr600rr----boy was i lucky---that hot chick was not worth my get off----but boy was she hott----no damage to the bike but i had a nasty bruise on my leg
