What can you guys tell me about these snakes?

First off dont bloods have diff. localities and if so do they vary in size like some of the BCI species of snakes what is the smallest and what is the largest. Last thing what is the average growth after about one year if you have pics of snakes at this growth period could you please post them

Well there are three species of the blood/short tail python complex. The sumatran red blood.. (largest) the borneo short tail (medium) and the sumatran short tail (also called the 'black blood'.. it is generally the smallest)

I have a pair of sumatran reds.. this is them at around one year of age:

about how big do black bloods get

They can still reach a very heavy bodied 3-5'.

This is a male sarawak yearling. (like a borneo)

As for the adult female she weighs 13 lbs and the boards in the picture are aprox 2 inches wide.

The sarawak weighs approximately 1500 grams.
