This boy loves his big f/t mouse. We have always fed a varied diet and this is his absolute favorite. Grabs it like my kids would grab cookies.

Re: Very hungry frog
It does look like he enjoyed that meal. How long have you had him?
-
Re: Very hungry frog
We've had him about 2 yrs. We got all 3 of the ones in the habitat at the same time. All doing great.

Re: Very hungry frog
He's definitely a cutie. Although why I find a frog devouring a mouse cute, says some weird stuff about me.
Do they make a lot of noise? (sorry for all the questions)

Re: Very hungry frog
If you sit quitely in the room they will start serenading. Not all the time, but it sounds so nice when they are all calling out.

Re: Very hungry frog
P.S. They never make a lot of noise, In fact until they get used to you, you probably won't hear anything.

Re: Very hungry frog
very cute! i saw a couple at a petshop the other day, they look like aliens
are they similar to pacmans?
-
Re: Very hungry frog
Not at all. My pacman is extremely aggressive. I wouldn't even think of housing 2 pacman frogs together. They would do their best attempted to eat whoever was smaller. The whites will live in harmony as long as there isn't a major size difference.

They are just as easy to keep. I mist their cages 3 or 4 times a day. I only feed once or twice a week. I tended to have health issues if live food was left in the tank. When fed only 2x's weekly they would not leave crickets running about. I can put meal worms in for snacks since they can be contained in a smooth sided dish. Very easy keepers.

Same frog. Make sure that he's big enough for the food item. They love pinkies. I only feed pinks about 1 time every 2 weeks. They rest of the time they eat their other items.

A taller tub would work well. One of them tends to stay on the ground, the other will climb up and park in a corner for hours at a time. Both spend most of their time hiding in their log hide. I never see them climbing the tree or plants in the enclosure.

Right on. A horned frog will gladly try to eat anything that moves,. including its own yong and its siblings, or even a frog that's bigger than itself.. not pretty!
