Post a picture of your first snake!
I thought this might be a fun post, and maybe we'll get some really old pictures from some of the older herpers out there. I would have made this a post a picture of your first herp, but technically the first herp I had was a common IL box turtle and I was like 5. I have no pictures of that.
If you have no pictures of your first snake you found, go for the first snake you purchased, or as far back as you can go.
This is the first snake I purchased.

I don't have any early pictures of my first BP Elvis. But I do have pictures of my first Pastel which also happens to be my first Morph. Picked him up from the airport yesterday. I felt like a new daddy going to pick up my baby from the stork. :D :D :D

Wow, mine first snake was a Bullsnake, but that was years ago, before the time of digital cameras and I have no photographs =(

my first snake was a worm :P
when i was little my big brother would tell me worms were snakes and they would bite me if i tried to pick them up, snakes didnt like girls.
and we all know how big brothers know EVERYTHING at that time in life :rolleyes:
and yes it took me forever to get past my fear of snakes/worms :oops:
it wasnt till a few short yrs ago that i got over the whole real snake fear.
i was snake sitting for some one and done lots of research on them to make sure i was able to give them the best care i could (as i would do for any creature) and in learning more about the animal and its nature i learned that my fear of them all goes back to the worms ... if my big brother could only see me now :O

This was The B*tch; she was our first BP. It was '02 when we got her. Sadly years ago, she escaped and froze in our basement; I dedicate my future and current BP keeping to her.

I think most of our first snake pics are blurry with us holding the snake up to the camera LOL.

This girl is my Mona Lisa she is not my first. But my first was in 1998 and I dont have any pics of her. I got Mona in july of 06.
