    Look Who's Back Home!!!
Brannagh and Orlah are finally back home from Eugene's! Mike and I are just thrilled to have our two biggest females tucked back in their tubs and typical of those two...they are already glaring at us wondering where the rats are LOL.

We took time for a few quick shots though...

Ms. Brannagh in all her glory! This is the only shot that came out well of her. When I tried for a nice closeup of her face she wanted to taste the camera LOL and wouldn't stop swaying around trying to figure out what it was and if it was edible or not.

Ms. Orlah being her always pretty self.

Awww who couldn't love this face!

One last shot of Orlah. "Hi Mom & Dad! We're home!!!"

I am just wondering if you are going to quarantine them?

    Congratulations on getting them back!

Quarantine is a way of life here Andre for snakes coming into our collection, even our own returning snakes. Is it with you?

They were with another BPNet member Chris out on a breeding loan. We weren't successful with them though Orlah did lay a clutch of eggs that subsequently went bad. We're looking forward to putting them with our own male this year since he's now more than large enough to breed.

I try my hardest to quarantine them as best as I can. Since we are renting this house there isn't much configs. we can make to it.

    * Thank you for the Negative rep who ever gave it to me. :( (I have a feeling who it was)

We rent too Andre. We've often used our own bedroom as a quarantine room when need be...whatever it takes to ensure the snake's wellbeing. As far as the neg point I'm sorry you got one, it certainly didn't come from me or you'd have seen my name attached to it. :)

I bet you are excited to have them back! I vaguely remember your breeding loan, it was going on right when I joined the forums. I remember some disappointment about a bad clutch, but I wish you better luck next time around and hope you do not miss this season. :)

Wow so many to reply to. Thanks for all the kind thoughts folks and well wishes for the upcoming season with these females. We are thrilled to see our beloved big females home again. Eugene you took great care of them buddy. They look stunning and even though the breeding loan didn't produce the snakes we hoped it would, I'm still pleased we tried it and look forward to doing business with you in the future.

Brannagh came out of the bag beautifully Gene! She's so not the snake she once was and I worried that moving to you and back to us might upset her but she was just fine. The bad old Mz B of those days seems gone forever now thank goodness! Orlah is her usual calm, demure self. That silly snake still doesn't mind being patted on the head like a dog...somebody aught to read her a book about being a snake I swear! LOL

I've had a word with the female breeder rats. Now that the big eaters are home again they are all on "overtime" to meet production quotas LOL. Okay I'll give them a raise and an extra 2 days vacation but if they start up again with the union talk I'm cutting back on the yummy kitchen scraps! :D

    Joanna,

Isn't that first picture with Mike the first time you got a picture of her WITHOUT Mike holding Brannagh with gloves? LOL

She's come a long way and they both look AWESOME! Congratulations on having those beautiful girls back home!

Well I'm going to have Mike take Malachi the male BP aside for a man to snake talk about the birds and the bees and why female snakes are fun to snuggle with. If all else fails I'll break out the old Barry White records and a bottle of cheap hooch (always worked with me...wait!...I never said that! )

I so need a new scale Raj. These "babies" are so big now they really don't fit on our current scale. Maybe Santa will bring me a new digital scale for Christmas (nudge...nudge...nudge hubby :) ).

It really does Sheree! I keep sneaking in to check on them in their tubs in the herp room. I'm just so thrilled to have the ladies back though they make handling the smaller BP's seem funny...suddenly they ones I felt were big...seem small again LOL. Thanks for all the well wishes from everyone on our first breeding season.
