Why is it that in all of your BP pics your babies seem to all have this "Look at me, I'm so cute!" expression on their faces?? Do you train them in "cuteness"? Is this a trait that has yet to be proven?

You should prove out your "cuteness" line.

Kim, The cuteness goes along with their happy lives here. I try to have them smile for the pics, but that sometimes dosent always happen. :)

Raul, Its not too complicated around here. I flop the snake on the floor or look for sunlight shining through a window, then fire away. If I take lots of pics there sometimes will be a good one in the batch. hahaha :P

Now Ed can't be the only one around here getting good head. I get pretty good head. Well at least I like to think I do.

My problem with head shots is that when I get up close enough, the flash completely washes out the picture.

Have you tried taking the pic from a slight angle? From what I have experienced already, the sheen off of the snake's skin acts very similarly to glass. Any pic you take from head on you're going to get that reflection from the flash.

Beautiful pics! I love the head pattern and the way you have captured the iredescence off of the skin!

Thats easy to do when your living large in the south, its cold here and wont warm up until april. flash is the enemy and washes out the color. I have not figured it out yet, but catching sunshine coming in through the window when the sun is high in the sky so there are no shadows works good. all you can do is take loads of shots and hope for a good one or 2. :peace:
