Jamie got it right, with the exception of also producing some normals in that mix.

I thought the silver streak was a super cinnamon pastel?????

You would have to breed the pewter back to the cinny.

super cinny is a dark brown snake.

silver streak can be had by breeding a pastel or super pastel to a black pastel.

genetics of the cinny and black pastels can be confusing.

Maybe I should have wrote it differently. Such as pastel super cinnamon.

wouldn't pastel or super pastel x black/cinny pastel = pewter?

    then, pewter x black/cinny pastel = silver/bullet/streak!!

    Yes!

    Pewters, Pastels, Cinnys/Black Pastels, normals....

This is the main focus of these breedings, and other morphs will also come out of these breedings.

Super Pastel X Black Pastel= Silver Streak
Pewter X Cinnamon Pastel= Silver Bullet

The one thing that's always confused me is the difference between the Cinnamon Pastels and the Black Pastels. They look very similar yet some can be quite a lot brighter/oranger/blacker/more contrast than the others. Are they truly distinct morphs or just the same morph with the usual unique differences all snakes have. What happens if you breed a Cinnamon Pastel and a Black Pastel?

Is the pewter form, the super? Or will you definately get a pewter from breeding pastelxcinny? Or is just a possibility to get one from this breeding?

I think this is more of a lineage difference?

    Ed,

There is no way to get a Silver Streak from breeding a Super Pastel to a Black Pastel. If that were your breeding, you would get Pewters and Pastels.
To get a Silver Streak, you would have to be breeding a Pewter to a Pastel or a Pewter to a Super, or a Pewter to a Pewter.

Pastel x Cinny will give you a chance at getting pewters...but there's no guarantees.

The odds should be pretty good because they are both co-doms, but yes, nothing is guaranteed. I understand black pastel and cinnies are compatable but different lines. I personally prefer the cinnies, more orangey color :D

Here is a comparison shot of two of mine: Cinnamon on the left and black pastel (Ian G's line) on the right. Keep your fingers crossed that these two will go this year.

I love what the cinnys and black pastels can do.Those are some great looking cinnys and black pastels.
I also prefer the BHB cinnys as I think they just have a more orangy look and tons of blushing.
Here is one I just picked up and can't wait till he sheds out.
Sory about the poor pics as he was going into a shed.

Seems to have a good head on his shoulders from what I know of him.. And while I havent had the pleasure of doing business with him, that will certainly change if he continues to pop out primo animals like he did this year ;):sweeet:

Jen thank you for the nice comment on the albino :) That was the only albino I hatched this year out of 10 eggs :( and is doing great at a friends house lol.
I hated to see him go but I promissed him a male last year so he is now the proud owner of the little albino lol :)
