I don't know if anyone heard about it or not but

The thing that gets me is cliff stevens park/moccason lake in clearwater florida has a frisbee golf course. You can go any day from morning to sunset and see people walking thru the water sometimes chest high bare foot feeling around foor those frisbees...I asked them is they're life really worth risking for the $2 they get for each frisbee disk? They reply's are usually "well...the gators in here aren't that big''

I've seen on numerous accounts, gators 10ft and larger swimming around in the lake and by the shore basking.

at one time during the middle of the day around 2pm I saw 9 or 10 alligators all in one 50 yards of an area all swimming around and on the shore with gators ranging from 4ft to a good 12ft in length...

and you can tell they can't be afraid of humans due to feeding them because i was fishing with my girlfriend there a few weeks ago and a 5 footer swam up to us right up to the dock just waiting for food or for one of us to jump/fall in...scary how we'd look to a 12ft'er.

Wow...I can just imagine wading through deep mud and cattails in the dark with alligators around and some guy screaming his head off. *shudders* I'm glad there are people who can do that kind of rescue work, 'coz I sure couldn't.

I wouldn't mind going out on an airboat with a permit and an elephant gun to go hunting for one but as far as pulling any size gator off a person would be rediculous! definetly heroic!
I dunno...As sick as it sound to hunt for one I think it would just look cool to have like a 10 footer stuffed just chillin in my living room or by the pool if when i own a house... great conversation peice...

I just don't understand how some people swim in the waters here in florida. You can almost bet/guarantee theres a gator in almost any body of water down here. And these goofs that go swimming for frisbee disks just boggle me because theres a sign every 20ft along the shore that warns of their prescense...

And the dogs just love to bark. Our neighbors have lost a Black Lab that way. I was playing in the water and then it wasn't. Pretty sad stuff.

THe crazy thing is...everybody knows that alligators hunt at night for food more than any other time...between dusk and dawn.

Go to alligator lake in safety harbor, FL and shine a spotlight out on the water and try to count the yellow ish eyes on top of the water...

I hate to say it but I call that survival of the fittest. Any idiot stupid enough to get high and jump in a known gator pond stark dang naked doesn't deserve to get his butt rescued and put 4 other people in harm's way doing so. I feel sorry for the gator getting a belly full of bad meat more than the idiot human. They didn't mention the fate of the gator they caught.

He sure does deserve it...maybe he'll see it as a sign that he needs to stop smoking crack? I doubt it but... your right he definetly deserves it...Yeah, I don't know if they'll kill it...they'll probably just relocate it to a more remote pond or lake.
