woohoo!! It's the het pied from Adam!! Watching the tracking progress was so cool. I think i refreshed that page about 2 times every second. When the mail man showed up, he was like, "reptiles, cool!"
And, ovcourse, i got some pictures. Great packaging!

Shimona and i waiting for the FedEx man. I think that was the longest wait of my life.

In his tub, kinda stunned (and yes, i noticed the little bald spot where he was, i put some more substrate in there, as soon as he moved. I had shifted the tub yesterday, and there had been a thinner layer in the middle)

Congrats! Adam's packaging is beyond perfect. I've said it before but it's always worth repeating...opening a box from 8Ball is like Christmas morning but since a beautiful snake is inside, it's even better! He sets the standard when it comes to professional, beautiful and super safe packing.

Oh and Jamie, remember cabana boys MUST wear thongs (it's some sort of rule I think!) :P

hets aren't as expensive as homozygous...

I do not know the exact details of their transaction, but based on adam's web site, het males are only $200.

Sorry, but they're really not priced with kids in mind. While I always enjoy working with my younger cutomers and their parents, the majority of the people that I sell to are adults.

Also what BPNoob needs to remember is that you have CB high quality hybrid animals. Not like anyone can go in their backyard and snag one. Having these creatures is a luxury so luxury can be cheap or expensive. Let alone Aadam's cost to breed, care and feed these guys before they are even sold.

I have a job, cleaning apartments, it is not the most glamorous job, so get paid pretty well, and scince i don't have to pay bills, it is actually a lot easier to afford snakes. Most kids don't have money because they can't save. My parents and grandparents have money because they save like crazy, i've watched them, and learned some pretty good habbits.

Rock on Amy. I can't wait to see this little booger for real. again, congrats on the buy...now you just need to save up for that het female :D

lol. I'm going to bring the pied female to Pet Bazaar to show them (they are excited too. lol) in a while. I want to give her a week or so to settle in, and then i'll feed her, and then 2 days after that i'll bring her in, and if she doesnt eat, it'll be longer than that. If it is on a day that you can make it we can meet up there and you can see the new girl :)

Here is a suggestion, leave your Pied at home. There are all kinds of creepy crawlies at pet stores, shows, etc. Why risk the health of an animal? Take pictures...

gahh....you got the pied! i knew you were looking for one, and needed an opinion..but i didn't know you got her..wow!...kudos!! :rockon: :rockon: :rockon: :rockon: :rockon:

haha. yeah i thought i told you that nate...sorry! lol. I got the one from David Doherty, the other one would not adjust his terms, and he wanted to be payed weird (weekly...i really didnt want to do that...especially with holiday chaos), and he was not nice to me in his emails.
anyways....Dr. Doherty was SO nice, accomidating, and will be shipping her out to me tomarrow, for an afternoon delivery (Delta). This is her pix.

And YAY on your het pied! I love getting snakes in the mail, I'd love even more getting a visual pied so you have to post all pictures from that as well, though Delta isn't as 'happy' since you have to travel to get it. :(

thanks! Well, i'm going to be in school when my dad goes and gets her (most likely), so the ride home is going to be one of the longest in my life. lol. It is fun waiting by the window with Shimona to see the Fedex man though. I love when she growls. it so cute because i know she's the biggest mush ever. lol.

I'm not quite sure what you meant...but, if you are talking about price...I don't like telling people what i payed for them. When i was younger i would always brag that i had money, and i found out the hard way that it is not too nice. I do like sharing snakes with the people on the forum though, lots of nice people to share with :)
