Haven't got a clue. She appears to be an adult.

Thanks, that answers my question. How's she settling in and what's her personality like?

She eats like a pig, warm and soft. If she gets frightened her quills stand up and she jerks her body causing some discomfort from the jabbing, not bad though. Until she gets comfortable with us Kelly handles her with a glove. She seems very comfortable around us considering it's her first day. Very high on the cuteness scale!!:D

Ok now you have sparked my interest again. What do they eat and what type of enclosure do they need to be happy. Is their a site or something to read up on the proper needs and care?

I kept a hedgehog for a while, they are super cute but I ended up selling her as I am to involved with reptiles and other things that I didn't give her enough attention.

One thing I remember reading and being told over and over is that gloves are a no-no. I can't remember why exactly maybe something to do with associating the owners smell or something.

Very easy to care for. Open wire cages best, but be aware that their heads are small so watch bar spacing. Just google hedgehog and there will be several pages. They require regular interaction.:D

Yes, I saw you there shopping for a snake, I was the tall one with a short flat top and carhart coat. My girlfriend had planned on buying one from Vickies Hedgehogs since she does nothing but hedgies. Turned out there was a 3 month waiting list . Thats why I don't know her age. Kelly has already been waiting for 6 months to get one, so while I was busy buying my snake she ran over and got one of the 2 at the show.
