    Super Bowl picks
Who do you guys think will make it to the biggest game in he country?

My prediction is Dallas Cowboys versus San Diego Chargers, with the Chargers blowing the Cowboys out 38-21

I don't think the Bears have a SuperBowl type offense. their defense might be good, but how are they going to score against the defenses in the Playoffs?

The Colts aren't going to the SuperBowl, mark my words ;). The only good teams they've played against and won were...

N.Y. Giants (if you can even consider them a contender now.)
    Jacksonville
    Denver (who's CLEARLY falling )

3 teams out of 11 teams that played them were good. Their next 6 games look to be easy wins for them (except for a few games). They have had a really easy schedule, which misleads alot of people to think they are legit. How are they going to beat San Diego, a team that has LT running the ball better than any other team in the league (except for maybe the Chiefs and LJ) when they can't stop Corey Dillon??? Ladanian and Larry would have a field day against a small (height) team that has virtually no run defense. Case closed ;)

It's their turn (Colt's) , San diego has a rookie QB plus they have to make the playoff's first , remember they didn't make it last year.

Take a look at the last several super bowl champs and see where their offenses ranked in the league. I don't believe any of them were ranked in the top ten in the last 5 years. Defense generally wins super bowls, look at the Ravens and the Bucs, neither one of them had an offense to speak of, save a decent running game.

How many teams with winning records did Seattle play last year?

I agree, Romo is giving he Cowboys that little boost they've needed all year while Bledsoe was playing. Bledsoe would make a heck of a free agent pickup though.

While we are on the subject of football who is your MVP of the year?

My point was that you can't really tell how good a team is if they haven't played a decent team. If the Bears beat the Raiders 50 to nothing, heck yeah it would be impressive, but it wouldn't test the full potential of the team.

Cowboys and Giants, forget about it!
At the risk of offending Giants fans Eli is not gonna take you to the promise land, at least not this year. And the Bears D will kill Romo and the 'boys

I say Da' Bears and a slim possible on the Panthers who are sneaking up now that they are healthy.

In the west it will come down to the Colts and the Chargers but don't overlook B-more.

My pick for the bowl is Bears/Chargers ( Colts just choke to darn much in the big one )

MVP has to go to LaDainian Tomlinson

I'm not ready to jump on the Romo bandwagon yet. They beat the Colts, which was impressive, but the Colts have been playing flat and had that loss coming. Then they beat a lousy Tampa Bay team. Now that there is actually game film of Romo playing something other than high school or college ball, it won't take other teams long to figure him out.

"coach Killer" does it again. 9 for 24 for 84 yards is pitiful. He ran the ball more times than he completed a pass! This guy should be worrying more about throwing the ball than running it...

Two that they beat (one of which being the Colts) in the regular season. And two that they beat in the post season (Redskins who they had lost to previously, and the Panthers who they didn't play in the regular season).

Don't count out the Hawks for this year either. 3/4 of our losses have come on the back of Seneca Wallace. Once our QB is back, there will be changes.

The Colts game was the last of the regular season, and Manning and the rest of the starters were only in for half of the 1st quarter, so that game doesn't count. If the 'hawks even make the playoffs, it's only because the rest of the NFC is so lousy, and I include the Bears in this statement too. Being king of the hill doesn't mean very much when the hill you are standing on is a dungheap! ;)

I didn't see the game, but I think it is the second biggest choke of the season. The Cardinals-Bears game earlier this season would get my vote for the biggest choke ever.

Parody is amazing in the NFL , big up to Baltimore they look good right now. The NFC is sorry just like the eastern conference in the NBA was a couple year's back. Drew Bledsoe should just retire to many QB's making him ride the sideline.

Yeah, I guess you can chalk alot of it up to parity, I think with free agency and salary caps, you probably will never see any truly dominant teams/dynasties like before, unless they happen by accident.

Actually, I will probably pull for the Colts, but you gotta love the way the Ravens kicked the living snot out of the Steelers. The Ravens would be my second choice in the AFC. I am actually a die hard Raiders fan, have been since the days of Ken Stabler and Fred Biletnikoff, but I don't see them going anywhere for a long, long time.

Actually it was week 16 (second to last game of the season) and the fact that they didn't play their starters doesn't discount the win. Seattle's defense for the first half of the first quarter trampled all over the offensive line, which is why Grungy pulled the starters so early in the first place.

The NFC has never been as good as the AFC, but lousy is a bit extreme. Four 11-5 teams certainly isn't lousy. Lest we not forget as well, Seattle beat every experts opinion on their win against the Panthers, and would have beat the Steelers as well, had the refs not been playing for them ;).
