What do pastels crossed with pieds make?

was wondering if anyone knew what i waould come up with if i bred a piebald to a pastel or Het pied to a pastel :confused:

piebald to pastel = pastels het for pied and normals het for pied

het piedbal to pastel = pastels 33% het for pied and normals 33% het for pied

I might have the possible het percentages wrong though.

a het pied to pastel would be 50% poss het for pied offspring

1/2 Pastel 50% Poss Het Pieds
1/2 50% Poss Het Pieds

In other words,
A pastel x het pied would produce all 50% poss het pieds. Half of those possible hets would be visible pastels.

No.....No. Since the pastel pied and spider pied were just produced this year......you are going to have to wait til' next year for those other two ;)

The spider pied was made by crossing a group of spiders with pieds or het pieds, raising them up, and getting an animal that carries the spider gene as well as being homozygous for piebald.

The super pastel pied and bumblebee pied will be done (hopefully!) in similar ways.

Do some reading on genetics and you'll be able to figure it out on your own....

MAN, are those pastel pieds hot.. can't wait to see if someone creaes super pastel pieds.. or bee pieds.. wow.

so pastel pied with the spider pied will create bumble pieds :) can't wait!

MMM....pieds. Still favor the spider pied, or lav albino pied (Creamsicle):D
