Glad to hear that yours has an 'awesome personality'! I think BRBs are another snake (like carpet pythons) that get a bad rap sometimes because of a few people having a nippy baby and classifying them all as 'bitey' snakes when anyone asks.
My female is great at being handled ......but a little monster lurks inside my het hypo male ;)
Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa
The only one ive ever handled wasnt nippy at all. Do they all lose most of their pattern as adults, or is the one I held an exception?
Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa
hey daniel what do het hypos go for?

If BRBs were a beginner level snake, they would be giving BCI morphs(and maybe even ball pythons) a run for their money once they start becoming available :)
Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa

Yes, that's CareFresh bedding. My wife insists we use it with our snakes and "pet" mice. It's soft and absorbs "presents" well.

Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa
Beautiful. Photos don't usually reflect how beautiful they really are in person.
Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa
Thanks. She is beautiful!!
I can't wait until Sunday so can take her out.
Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa
I think that BRBs get better as they age. I love looking at my older ones, they just look so rich.
