    Ed Clark's #....
Does anyone have Ed Clark's # by chance. I'm not to sure what is going on with the female snake I bought from him, but she was susposed to be here at 9:30am and well she isn't and now her tracking # says she "At dest sort facility in Baltimore". Soooo if you have his # PLEASE PM it to me! I've sent him a email, but he has yet to get back to me. :(

is she arriving via ups or fedex? most likely ed will not be able to get any more information than you can from the carrier. try calling the carrier directly with your tracking number and see if they can give you an update.

like i said, fedex won't be able to tell him anything more than what they will tell anyone else who calls with a tracking number.

i'm sure ed packed your snake very well and included a heat pack, so even if she does arrive a little late she should be fine. :)

Not sure where you are in relationship to the sorting facility in Baltimore but generally once they are on the way you'll see something like "on truck for delivery". Call FedEx though and remember for the future (note for all of us), it's best to have contact numbers for all parties at both ends when shipping live. Ed's an experienced shipper so I'm sure the snake will be just fine.

Yea I just can't believe the big EC didn't give them a contact number. Ed's a good guy I'm sure your snake will fine. fed Ex probaly just hasn't updated their info. I have had over night stuff show up at the office that still showed at the hub on the online and call in system.

Nope not right. If the package is marked by 10:30 am next day it has to be their or else driver gets docked for the company loss.

Thats true :) .If you look up the prices for say shipping a 7x7x6 package that weighs 2lbs overnight express you will see the differant prices for certain times by delivery.Sometimes its around $30+ just to get it delivered by the 10:30 am when compared to 12 noon delivery time. They even have a 8:30am but it is a much higher shipping costs.

Nope. There are alot of areas FedEx delivers to that do not even guarantee 10:30 am delivery. You can pay for it, but you will not get it all the time. Plus during heavy delivery times the will not make the cutoff and I guarantee their drivers are not losing any money. ;)

Ok.I did have one go out this year that the earliest they would guarentee was 12 noon next day.Now the part about the driver being docked if they are late getting the package on time delivered, i was told this by a Supervisior over the drivers.Yet it would not shock me if he was just lieing threw his teeth.Or he is one of the lost people that work at fedex and tell everyone they do not ship reptiles at all :8: .

Living up in northern MI and also out on the lake outside a small town, it was just as Bill said. They may offer a 10:30 a.m. delivery time (I don't think they guaranteed it) but the fact is they made one run out that way on any given day and it was exactly at noon, but at least that was very consistent.
