my brother got injured :(

today i was with my mom and dad in klamath falls buying boer goats and stuff and the hospital gives my dad a call telling him that my brother arick had just compound fractured his right shoulder and dislocated his growth plate in his right shoulder!!!! he is right handed too!!! :( :( :( :eek: so hes out for his upcoming bball season i feel really bad for him right now hes going in to surgery so they can move his growth plate and stuff so i was just wondering if you guys could pray for him and hope he gets better cuz im really worried and i love my brother alot:( and hope hes gonna be ok and not messed up for life he's 14

thank you all so much this means alot to me:) he was snowboarding and hit an ice patch so his board swung out and hit a tree and he flew foward tryed to catch himself with his hand but the the weight and speed combined his shoulder couldnt handle and snapped.
but he had surgery last night and he came home at like 12 pm so hes at our house right now and hes doing pretty good but feels sick because he has to take vikadin and that is very strong and makes him wanna puke. but yeah it looks very painful because they had to bolt his shoulder together and theres two metal rod things sticking out of his shoulder,its all wrapped but you can see the two bumps in the wrap were they are.

Glad that your brother came through the surgery so well and is at home recouping. Keep us updated:)

Man, sorry about all of this. It is good that he was able to come home; I have had to spend nights in the hospital, and it is SO great to finally be able to go home.. not many things worse than sleeping in the hospital, in my opinion.

Get well soon mr shocker0's brother.I know how you feel,my friend got in a car wreck yesterday.He's like a brother to me.

i love basketball as well, he'll be back next season :)
