    So How'd I do?
I posted a thread yesterday asking how to take those great pics like Vaughn and Adam. Lots of people gave me great advice. So here is my first attempt for last night. White foam board, 2 - 3200K GE true white bulbs, f0.5+, flash on, and a 40.00 tripod. So how'd I do guys?

Wow very nice! I need to read that thread since I'm so clueless with cameras that I just learned what the darn flower symbol means (thank you Robin!).

The flower is the macro part. it alows you to take pics like the one below realy up close and get great detail.

Yea two real bright lights and a flash with the fstop on .5 over med gray will wsh out the white background. Very cool floating effect.

looking good, play around with the exposure some, try 1/3, 1/2, and 1 full stop over and under to see the difference. also experiment with the metering full frame, center weighted, and spot metering. i use to write down notes of the adjustments with the pic # so i could tell what adjustments did what. after a while, you'll find what you like best. also try no flash, auto flash and fill flash!

This one looks much better! See if you can "even" out the lighting a little. You can see how much light ur gonna need by noticing the shadow that is cast by ur subject. Good shot! :)
