It looks really good.....but I'm wondering if the TV and little stereo are just there for decoration? Because if you use them while a bp is in residence, the vibrations caused could be a significant source of stress.

It might NOT bother them....but if they seem stressed, that should be one of the first things you consider changing.

The stereo speakers are on the other side of the room and i only use the tv when i'm in bed so its on a very low volume, i've also put rubber feet on the TV to try and reduce vibrations.
So hopefully it will be ok! :D

I would think about cutting off those screws on the top of the rack, looks like a good place to donate blood. Other that that it looks great. ;)

    lookin good my man

I was gonna try for a close sided and peg board backed rack but adam said in another thread he finds they feed and grow better in open racks - though he never did explain why ( hint , hint :P ).

How tall is the whole rack? I was thinking of putting the corns in the same rack as the royals but that would mean it would be at least 6 of those tubs high ( + at least one extra shelf if I add in the housie) and I have a horrible feeling that's impractical as it would be taller than I am  .

Do have one usefull idea - if you find those dividers begin to move under snake power a couple of holes drilled in the tub and divider and a couple of pegs would be an easy fix, or did you silicon them in?

    And cute snake :)

Looks really good. I will say that you will probably be replacing the wood for the dividers and shelfs within a year or so. Humidity and particle board do not mix well......LOL I like the size you chose, and the design very much.

Well i've only done the first two shelves, as they are the only tubs full atm, but there in serial and i'm sure you all get the idea. Here are a couple of pics:-

    Hey Graham,

How's the rack working out now you've had time to settle it all in?

Did you ever get more snakes to fill it as planned?

Also wanted to ask if the tubs sliding across it affects the flexwatt? does it wear or anything?
