Female ball is on the way baby!!

Just wanted to update everyone that my female ball from Steve Gooch is on the way for tomarrow morning delivery!!!
The last email from him just a few hours ago says she weighs 1,298 grams!!!
I'll get pics I hope tomarrow!!! Wish me luck baby:carrot:

Not yet rick. I'm gonna wait until til next year to make sure she is a good weight. I think I'm just gonna get a male pastel to get it started

1295 grams is plenty weight...3 months/90 days quarantine would set you back to feb. You could give it a go then. And by that time you could have added even more weight as well if she's still growing...IF you wanted to give it a try this year and you have the extra cash you can find plenty of male pastels ready to breed on kingsnake.com

i wouldn't say "plenty". alot would depend on age and length. 1300 grams if she laid 3-5 eggs that's 300-500 grams of weight loss, then she is 800-1000 grams... and has to gain weight for the next breeding maybe?

nothing wrong with waiting until she's bigger! next season, more eggs!!

I agree 100%!! I'm waiting for sure. I just got around to looking at the package and she looks great. I'll try and get a new memory stick today for some pics
