Female Ball Python, Male Bull Snake, Male Crested Gecko

I have come to a very sad decision today. My finances simply are not getting any better at the moment. I'm a little worried about what's going to happen after the first of the year: I'm losing one job and, though I have been applying at other places, there are simply no guarentees. So, that said, I'm selling all my animals (except Kinky---she will only go if things get REALLY desperate).

First up is Mercedes, my Female Ball Python. She is a total sweetheart, very light colored (high gold), and around three feet in length. She has a very slight kink in her tail:

Next is Tristan, my little Bull Snake. He's about a foot and a half long, still just a little guy. When I got him, he was nippy, hissy, and a tail rattler. He's still a little jumpy when I try to handle him---maybe it's just because I'm used to the slower moving pythons/boas---but not a hiss or bite in a good while:

Finally, my last crested gecko, Pinky. He's for a pet only! Has some kinks in his tail because of a calcium deficiency, but it doesn't affect him otherwise. Very nice looking little guy, he's definately a cutie:

For 'Cedes, I was wanting $150+shipping, Tristan, $40+shipping, and Pinky $40+shipping. It'd be nice if I could send them all to the same place, but I doubt that'll happen.

Also, with only one remaining snake, I may be giving up my rack as well. I hate to do it---like the final defeat---but if someone offers the right price, I'm willing. It's huge, six tubs high and long enough to hold snakes up to eight feet. Also comes with three pieces of wired flexwatt. Make me an offer if interested. IT IS FOR PICK-UP IN COLUMBUS, OHIO ONLY! I also have a couple ten gallon aquariums---Tristan and Pinky's. $10 for Pinky's, with no heat pad, and $20 for Tristan's with a heat pad (also has a sealed top so that snake's cannot escape). These are also only for pick-up.

Yeah, it sucks. Because I have three snakes of different sizes, it gets a little expensive feeding them every week. I'm worried that, come a couple weeks from now, when I'm strapped just to pay rent, I won't be able to afford feeding them. Plus, a little extra cash on hard so I'm NOT so strapped to pay rent may help a little.


Also worried that, even if I find two jobs or whatever to pay rent, I won't have enough time to interact with everyone.

*Sigh* I HATE it.... but I guess that's how the chips fall sometime. It's just an unstable time in my life, and I want my animals to have a stable food source and life.

Sometimes making the tough decisions for the best welfare of those creatures we are responsible for is awfully hard dear. If this is the right decision for you at this point in your life though it's a hard one, it is the best one. You've obviously got their welfare at heart first and foremost and no one can ever fault you for that (just don't fault yourself and be hard on yourself too much hon....that will cause you more stress than anything else believe me). You should still have my phone number if you ever need to call and just vent, if not PM me for it if you want.

I can't get a weight on her because I don't have a scale (that's why I posted the pic of her with the boa, a good six footer, for size reference). She's a chunker, though... pounds a live medium rat every two weeks.

I'll ship any and all of them for a flat fee of $40, box and heat pack included.

i will probably take her just need to check money tonight when i get paid and as long as you can guarantee that she is a she and live arrival.

She's a big, beautiful, tame ball python... but I make NO guarantees that she can breed. The bump isn't large, it doesn't look like it would hinder her in any way (she eats medium rats and poos them out just fine), but again, for clarification---I did say this in the original ad---she isn't flawless.

Mercedes has found a new home with forum member, itzazoo (Matt).

This is especially fitting for me because Matt also purchased Diablo, my male BP a couple months ago. It'll be nice to see my two kids reunited in a good home. Thanks again, Matt!

Looks to me like a calcium deposit. Is it hard like bone and doesn't seem to bother her? I have a female with the same thing. She is being bred this year. The 2 vets she has seen both believe it won't hinder her ability to breed.

It is hard like bone. It hasn't hindered her ability to do anything... she's quite the little hunter :)

I haven't taken her to a vet because she hasn't had any need to see one. I would recommend taking her to see a vet, Matt, before you decide to breed her.

Mostly, I just wanted to see this girl go to a good home... and am glad she is.

It would be great if she could breed---and Matt bred her to Diablo. I would definately want in on one of those kids!

I've got a good reptile vet in Houston I go to. I'll difinetly get her checked out even before attempting any breeding. And if she can't, well she will have a good home for a long time. I don't plan on doing any breeeding for about another year anyhow.
