we got a new kitty!

meet nigel, who was abandoned at our apartment complex before we moved. he took a liking to me (could it have been the bowl of food outside my door? :P) and so when we moved to our new house we brought him with us. he is settling in quite nicely, although our other kitty (phoebie) is having to adjust quite a bit, but is handling his kitten-like playfulness and urgent desire to make friends very well. :sunny:

thanks all, he is SUCH a sweetheart. so loving and so playful and SO full of energy! he was thin and had two pretty deep gashes on his face when we took him in but he is all healed up, filled out, vet checked and ready to play now. :D

and no, he can't lick his eyeballs (close but not quite :) ), but i have plenty of kids who can do that already! :P

ha nice i'm so jealous! i want a cat...but poor Mandy is alergic to kitties...she's a dog lover, which rocks as well...they're just much more maintainence than cats are and we can't handle that at the moments...snakes and cats are all I want right now :D

He's adorable! Such a cute little face.

he is VERY playful--he still has a lot of kitten in him :P. he spends most of his time gleefully attempting to get our other kitty to play with him, resulting in lots of swatting and him getting chased out of the room and then coming right back for more. :)
