Nice pics! Is that a threat pose from the rosea? The unknown is beautiful too--I would have guessed OBT if you hadn't already pointed out that it wasn't.

    Great shots!

I remember when my salmon looked just like that lil one.

The rearin' rosie earned a grin from me as well, Erik!

Nice shots! It looks like your burmese brown and cobalt blue could use some more substrate to burrow in though.

yeah the burmese and the cobalt have very deep substrate. i moved them for the pics. so they wouldn't run down their holes!!!!! LOL fast little buggers, i really dont know what the unknown one is is really does look like an OBT but its about 2" and already has the hooks? i dont get it maybe it is an OBT but it is nowhere even close to the size fo my other one. on arachnoboards they say its an OBT, maybe...............

taking pics right now will update soon

Your unknown T has looks too fuzzy to be an OBT, but it does have a orange tint to it.

It vaguely reminds me of a P. scrofa....

Could be, I am not good at identifying from photos, except for blatently obvious species. Is there an orange phase p. scrofa?

I don't think there's an orange phase P. scrofa, but some of them do have a golden tint to them in pictures..

I have a P. scrofa but it doesn't have adult coloration yet.

Did you move your Poecilotheria for taking pictures also?

The one does look like P. murnius, although being mature at 2 inches is a bit odd. If it has spots on the abdomen, it's not P. scrofa and no, P. scrofa don't look that orange. They have a rust color to them, but not that bright.

ah i finally remembered about this forum. i have been working way to much. stupid oilfield. anyways the little OBT has since passed. although i was able to determine that it was in fact a P.Murinus but i still dont get how it could have been adult. meh

and as far as moving my ornamental for pics, no no. i dont know if you keep any of these types, but they are literally faster than you eyes. so fast that its pretty scary. came pretty close to tagging me just the other day
