My Christmas/New Years Gifts to Myself!
I'm finally joining the "8ball Club"! They should be with me shortly after the 1st of the year. Merry Xmas to me!

First off I want to say that Adam is a great guy to work with, answering all of my PMs and emails with lightning speed and wonderful advice.

After I set a goal of what I want to do the next few years with ball pythons, with super pastels being the first goal to attain, eventually a Super Pastel Hypo project, and so on. I emailed Adam inquiring about a pair of pastels, using his years of experience seeing the different pastel lines crossed, especially the VPI and Lemon lines he works with.

So the next thing was to see the availability from him of some groups of Lemon males and females, as well as VPI males and females....It was a hard decision because all of his snakes are gorgeous! But finally I came to a decision...with a bit of advice and help from Adam.:P

I went with a VPI male and a Lemon Pastel female. I liked the pair because of the great contrast...on certain animals I like blushing, but on pastels I absolutely love yellow/black contrast which these two have.

    VPI male: Jungley!

And his lovely future girlfriend, Lemon Pastel female: Hotness!

I can't wait til they're all paid off and on their way...but in the mean time I know he is taking killer care of them.

    Thanks again Adam!

I can't wait to see the delivery man on that day, he'll be my new best friend...well after I open the box and see they are safe and warm. BTW, good luck with your pastel male this season, he's a real beauty also!

Thanks flipper. You know, you've got that nice new rack built...isn't it about time to start fillin' that? I think Adam still has a few pastels left.;)

I hope she throws babies that have her crazy pattern. According to Adam, she's unreal to hold in person because of her colors...needless to say, I'm thinking I should open the box with sunglasses. :sunny:

I saw that you posted your excitement from 8ball, felt left out, so I wanted to share my excitement as well! However, I'm sure its a bit more rough for you to wait out the CITES work and get your snakies. You should make us cookies to celebrate...I don't think cookies need CITES paperwork, so feel free to send em' on down.:D Congrats on your beauties!

Just wait until shipping day! I always plan not to sleep all night as I obsessively check the FedEx Tracking website to see where they are and catch the updates. Of course, about 2, I finally drag my sorry self to bed and then up by 7 to resume the "watch"!

Fun stuff, one of the parts I enjoy for some odd reason - maybe because it's something akin to Christmas anticipation as a kid! Nothing better than snatching that box from the delivery man, signing quickly and closing the door in his face while your hands shake from anticipation and opening the box to check out your new beauties!
