Not snow already!!!!!

I woke up to 3" of snow this morning and it's still coming down. :( I really had wished it would stay away for awhile longer.

it is nice and warm here...about 70 right now...short sleeves, shorts....i think i might go to the beach today..... :D

Love snow but man do I hate the cold!

We got dumped on about 2 weeks ago - lost power in my area for about 4 hours - some area's were without power for a few days "burrr" - Love the snow, but hate the cold :sunny:

OMG... But thats SOoo pretty!!! I'm sure thats a pain to deal with sometimes, but I think I'd trade that for our 1000% humidy !!! Here, if it even frosts up.. theres a wreck on EVERY corner!

frost?! all it has to do here is sprinkle down a few drop of rain and people completely lose their ability to drive. insanity! :stupidme:

I was stationed at Ft Hood in '94 and we had an ice storm. I lived in Copperas Cove and drove home from Ft Hood and counted 35 cars in the ditch in less than 5 miles. I had people asking me how I didn't go in the ditch. "Slow and Steady". Its weird how many people in the south can't figure out how to slow down in bad weather. :rolleyes: I had a guy in a truck fly down a on-ramp onto the highway about 75 mph and go right off the other side in front of me. :rolleye2:

LOL! I hear you! *nock on wood* I think the best driving lessons I ever had were pulling a horse trailer.... AND and old beat to ___ ford that would hydro plane on a puddle of spit! I still get the willies in the rain!:P

we get about 3-14 days of snow a year here. it's rain we get. you gotta learn to drive in it ;) our rains have started again... major flooding around here. our house is fine but there's been cows floating down the river :eek: friends have had to leave their homes...

the sun came out for 3 days to assist the waters to recede and the next storm (which is supposed to be worse than the one last week) started late last night. i believe we had over 400 mm in a four day period (record breaking) (approx. 15") and we have moreeeeeeeeeeeeee coming!

send the rain vibes to us :please:

and bill... that snow is gorgeous!!! hope it doesn't affect your balls and make them was to curl up and hide :giggle:

Bill how far into Iowa are you? I hope it leaves us alone as i hate snow:P

We are just south of the Minnesota border, but the snow goes south quite aways (not sure on how far). Get the shovel out (just in case). ;)

I feel for you, Bill! We had a storm in nearby Buffalo a few weeks ago (I am sure you all saw the media coverage of that!) Though we only got a few inches here in Sticksville, it devastated my family's yards (fallen trees everywhere; they all still ahd leaves and were weighed down/snapped branches from the snow.) We have none lingering now; actually had temps in the 60s today, but it is coming.. and it'll be a bad winter, I know it..!

Your so lucky...I miss snow.....Stupid weather....:mad: :cool:

i drove thru bufflo a week after that happened to go salmon fishing in the oak orchard river. what a mess everyones yard looked like a lumber yard downed trees piled 10 feet high..

im not ready to pull three kids on one sled thru 3 foot of snow for HOURS yet..:O

I enjoy the snow, but I'm not that thrilled about the cold.
The coming winter hasn't bothered me too much this year...I'm looking forward to downhill skiing season.

Don't you love that snow Bill?! We got 10 inches in Rochester on Friday...none left on the roads today because of the sweltering 40 degree temperatures.:P I feel for you! Brrrr....
