my new snakes... from Adam!

Oh ya baby, you heard that right... snakes with an s on the end. That means there's more than one!!!

So, let's start this post with some pics cause we all know

we've been working on this deal with adam since early october and i've been dieing to share it with everyone (ya i did hint a few times) but until it was a final deal... i didn't want to start a thread. tonight we finally chose our last snake so... it a done deal!

okay so first... i guess i should start with my favorite snake of the whole bunch... you know what? i can't. i have four favorites heehee they all REALLY rocked my boat when i saw them!

so let's start with our new 100% het pied male:

now... we are moving in the world of pastels... so hold onto your socks here folks...

and her new groom (we marry them young LOL) - the one we've been waiting to finish shedding... here he is! VPI pastel male:

so there they are. we've named this last "little dude" and my daughter has named the female het "nutcracker" (nutty for short) because of the 'peanuts' down her back LOL

nice! looks like you have some great clutches in your future from your new pairs! nutty looks nice and chunky. :P awesome colors on those pastels too--and from what i've seen watching my pastel (jack) grow up those vpi's hold their color quite nicely as they mature. :gj:

so when do those beauties head north?

adam has to get the CITIES done... inspections etc. (i really don't understand the process and he's handling it all for us)

and CITIES can take up to 12 weeks... so... i'm patient. heck i waited to post this thread for 6 weeks so i can wait a few more for them to come live in my house. at least i know they are being well taken care of in the meantime! :D

my dream... has come true. i got to order some snakes from adam! :wuv: i'm in heaven!

Governments want to keep track of how many of each specific animal on the CITES is imported/exported to any countries participating in CITES. Since Adam is sending these snakes out of the country to Aleesha, they have to do all of this first.

I LOVE the reduced pattern on that lemon girl. She's is gonna make some beautiful babies. I'm breeding my lemon boy to a reduced pattern hoping to get something pretty like that. Gotta love. She would make the most awesome bumble bees :rockon:

thanks everyone. it sure is hard to choose which ones you want LOL although... i have to tell you... the ones i chose in the first seconds of seeing the pics is what i've ended up with. it's that *open pic - suck in breath and can't move* feeling which lets you know this is the snake for you!

i had that with nutty (female het) and our female lemon. With little dude... well I just fell in love with him immediately. His pattern just knocked my socks off.

Our little male het... i'm not sure what exactly attracted me to him... i just knew i wanted him LOL

and then adam let us know which ones he recommended and we picked 3 outta 4 of his picks... little dude was in a final heat with a lemon boy - although i knew in my heart the whole time that i was picking little dude... he just captured my heart in such a big way.

but the process... it's so much fun. adam is amazing. sending pics, discussing your choices with you, giving his opinions but not too much... his way of balancing what he suggests and assisting you to follow your heart... it's a gift. he's very good at what he does. those of you who have gone thru this process with him know exactly what i'm speaking about.

not quite but it sure is a start!!! we figure it'll get us some nice morphs which we can trade for other morphs and then make some more morphs to trade for some other morphs and then they'll tell two friends and they'll tell two friends and so on and so on and so on :giggle:
