Re: I want a blood now
there's a care sheet on them on this site.you just have to look for it.i got mine from LLLReptile.mine isnt agressive at all but i suggest you buy them as babies so that they frow to not be as agressive as wild-caught adults.

Here ya go: http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules....warticle&id=11
CBB bloods are typically not aggressive, though babies are often nippy, the majority grow out of it. I got my pair from Kara at NERD.. and I couldn't be more happy! She's the blood lady. :)

I have a baby blood, and she is the most docile of all my snakes. Active, inquisitive, curious about her surroundings, and not remotely head-shy. I can poke her between the eyes (not that I -do-, but I can!), stroke her chin, and she never flinches or acts the least bit perturbed. I'm thrilled with her, and can't wait to see her grow up.

According to my records, my sarawak short tail was eating "live almost hoppers" when I got him. (He was about 2 weeks old).

Re: I want a blood now
:) weyhey another one with the blood bug, good luck finding one, as it has been said do try and get a young snake that you can raise, it is more rewarding I believe to do this also.
Avoid WC and try and get one from a reputable breeder if you can there are plenty of them around. Bob Clark I got mine from and I couldn't bemore happier with my bloods.
Kara on here also breeds them I think and judging from her comments she is an excellent person to refer to on a purchase as she has a lot of experience and knows waht she is talking about.
I think it is well worth taking your time to find a good snake that is healthy and feeding well which is a basic from any good breeder. Once you have that your well on your way aquiring a good specimen that you can work with.
A good thing to remember when working with young bloods especially is to be confident and be very patient. In general they are great feeders providing their husbandry requirements are met.
Do make sure you have the set up prepped and ready before you get it and also give the snake a few weeks to settle in. Keep the handling to short time frames but regular initially, with jumpy and nippy bloods. They do on the whole tend to settle down quite well and will revert to huffing and puffing more than threatening to bite when handling.
lastly to keep this short .........DONT whatever you do forget to post pics when you do get one. :colbert:
haha
best of luck :)
