yeah i did but the bluriness didnt get any better.it's like i have to take the pic from far away to get a good clear pic but then the snake would be too small to see.

do you have a program on your computer that allows you to digitally zoom in to the picture after you upload it? then you can just take a far away picture and zoom in to it after you load it. if i was there it would be much easier to help lol ;)

Have you tried the macro settings on the camera?

try taking the picture against a solid colored background that is not too far behind the subject. From the picture you posted, it looks like the camera is auto-focusing on the background (something you want to avoid).

Try setting the snake on something like a backdrop or even the floor.......then you can focus on using your camera correctly, not holding the snake!

    Either way, nice blood!

im not sure what your cam looks like.mine has 4 arrows next to where the screen is.the one that points "right" has a flower design meaning use that option for taking close-up pics of things like flowers.

Another thing you can do is step back and take the picture from a distance, a few feet maybe.

Using a program like Photoshop, you can then just crop out the snake, instead of just resizing the whole picture. But it seems you're starting to get a handle on the macro feature.
