    Best Axanthic Lines your opinion
Looking into a couple of 100 het Vpi Axanthic balls but also have a chance to get a proven male Sk axanthic and some het females wondering which would be the better investment.

Having seen VPI and Sutherland axanthics as both hatchlings and adults, I'd pick VPI everytime ... just my personal preference. That said, I'm a ball python nut and want EVERYTHING, so I'm sure at some point I'll have Sutherland axanthics in my racks right next to my VPIs. ;)

Never owned an axanthic, but if the silver and black babies would stay that color I could get into those. the vpi's seem to be a nice looking bloodline.

And I agree with adam that the Lilac is a beautiful and fragrant late spring flower.

Amen to that... God knows I can't stop!!

As for axanthics, I like the VPI much better as they have been used more.. I don't own any so cannot give any personal experience other than seeing them right next to each other as babies.

Thanks could get a proven SK breeder right now but I think as I have never embarked on breeding before that it may be a wise move on my part to start with some Het Vpi's and see what happens really like the VPI line so we'll see sometimes I guess u have to give up on what you could have now for what you may get later :)

I havn't seen many adult pic's , it would be the best way to make your own decision. That said most say VPI all the way.

I would personally like to see the adults in comparison if I were to be making the decision of buying one myself. I think when you buy a morph that has more than one line it's all about personal preference. I haven't had any plans on purchasing an axanthic anytime soon but seeing some of the babies that some people have its tempting...I'm just curious as to how they look when they grow up...especially in comparison to the differen't lines.

Here is a pic of my male VPI Axanthic breeding last year. He doesn't normally sit still. Hardest snake I own to take a picture of. He does stay relatively still when he is breeding, so it makes for perfect picture tiime.

To be honost that looks JUST like my big female...If I had a good camera you'd see it. I don't know tho, I'm not saying it is an axanthic but it looks identical to the one pictured above.

I really need to get a good camera...:(
