Joanna (Frankykeno), and her hubby are getting this little Yellowbelly from me tomorrow after I get back from the Union Hall. This lil gorgeous guy is at 131 gram's, and fiesty!:P Here's for Jo...and a special thank's to ED, for producing this outstanding guy! I have seem some of the best quality bp's come from him

Thanks everyone (and thanks Ed for producing this wonderful little male and Andrew for offering him to us). We're looking forward to the future with this gorgeous fellow and all the wonderful things we hear YB's can add to a breeding collection's genetics. :)

Mike's left to go over and pick him up so hopefully I'll have time to take some pics before we tuck the new male away for his quiet time. I'll try to post a couple later today or this evening (just to complicate things today our 5 year old is home sick with a bad cold bug so the day is a bit...nutsy!)

Okay finally a quiet moment to post a few pics we took of the little YB male tonight. Mike's named him as well, he's called Riordan which is pronounced "reer-dun" and means royal poet. I didn't get great pics of him and most of the belly shots didn't come out at all well. Someone is seriously going to have to teach me to take a decent belly shot LOL. Oh well, here's the best of what I took. We didn't want to stress the little fellow out trying for better shots tonight.

    Riordan in Mike's hand.....http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...rdanNov062.jpg

Belly shot (told you I take a horrible crappy belly shot!)....http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...yshotNov06.jpg

I love his funny little Mickey Mouse shaped head markings! He seems a very calm little guy and not at all hissy or snappy at this point.

Mike and I are madly doing our YB research Cue. Seems like there are a lot of possibilities with this male other than producing ivories (though that in itself will be a thrill one day).

congrats jo! yb's are cool, there are still alot of combos left to be seen with them. so far they seem to enhance other morphs well.

Thanks Vaughn. We're really excited to be planning a future for this little male. Should be a lot of fun to see what his genetics can do down the road. :)

Pay very close attention to the special details that your YB has over the others. They are so very smokin' in their own wonderful way. I enjoy looking at mine ALL the time almost more than any other dorky visuals I have. Enjoy your treasure

Thanks for that advice Cue. We really aren't examining Riordan too much, just letting him settle in and get comfy here. Once he's had his quiet week and is eating consistently for us, we'll get a better appreciation for him I'm quite sure.
