life is too short...go for it!

okay, so as many of you know i am was looking to get a female morph for my bp male. well, i want som pieds, and life is too short to not go for it, so im ordering a male now, and im going to order a female as soon as i get my second job. I'm absolutley extatic.:sunny:

edit- yeah, sorry, i forgot to say het pied. lol

I cant get both of them together because of the money factor. A pair is 1300 (dont quote me on that, i believe that is the correct amount from Adam's collection), and with the holidays coming up i cant afford to spend more than 350. I am getting a second job some time in December (or January), and after that i'll go ahead and order a female. :sunny:

why not send adam the 350 to hold a pair for you... this way you save $$ on the snakes (as buying pairs is less expensive) and you save $$ on the shipping, as they will come together.

sounds like a win win situation to me!

of course, patience does come with a little cost... of waiting to hold your snakes - but it does have it rewards in cold hard cash!

I totally agree with Aleesha! I know that is what I would do if I were looking to get a M&F het pied pair and I didn't have the full amount of money at this time. I'd put a down payment on them and have them held.

I dont know if i am for sure getting the second job, and i dont want Adam to have to wait like a year for me to come up with the money. It is only 100 more to get a female by herself. With the holidays coming, i dont know if i'll be abel to save 1300, so im going to go ahead and stick with my plan. I do wish i could get them both though at this time though. (dont we all wish we could get a pied breeding pair. lol).

ya if it's going to be a year... i'd just pick up the male now as well ;)

You should really consider getting the female first. It takes much longer to get a female ready for breeding than a male. Then you'd still have another year or two to save up for a male of your choice. ;)

well i am not going to get the female longer than 5-6 months after i get the male. Like i said, i am getting the second job in December or January, i'll have enough money for her a few months after that.

if it's only a matter of a few months like you said in your above post (not the quoted one - i know it's confusing LOL)... i'd definitely go with the "give adam a deposit" to hold the pair of your choice... get that female growing up for ya in the meantime... and have them both delivered to ya in 6 months!!!

AND if you don't get the second job... i'm quite sure adam will let you put the deposit on paying for the male in full and send it to ya pronto!

If I had the option to do things over again, I'd follow some of the great advice given in this post and earlier posts - buy female recessives first and grow up for at least a year before you buy the male. Unless of course, you get an awesome pair price . . . .:) I've got some awesome het males (clown from Sean and Celia with Exotics By Nature and Caramel albino from John Piro) that I don't have adult females ready for them yet. So unless I can find some friends close by that can use them this year (Nate? Audrey? others?) in a breeder loan, they will be setting around twidling their thumbs. :D
