Crystal, look at it this way. you have a morph male that produces $2500.00 hatchlings, you get 8 eggs and 4 of them are $2500.00 morphs. you just made $10,000.00 off of that $1250.00 female you bought. and she will breed for many,many years. I had a bunch of females come up to size this year (16) I do not need or want to breed that many more females, I am trying to cut back. I am a small hobbiest breeder and there comes a point that it is no longer fun and becomes alot of work. these big girls will make someone happy. :)

My big girl has made me VERY happy....:)...I hope you sell her.

Wouldnt breeding a morph male and a reg female only produce Het's then you would have to breed again to produce those $2500 morphs?

firehop, if you have morphs with co-dom or dominate genes then you will produce morphs on your first go around...at least that's what the odds say.
