Arrrrrrr Matey! It's Halloween!

Just had to share these pics. Mikey, our 5 year old had a great time this year! He loves playing pirate (his toybox in the background is actually an old trunk...errr...treasure chest). This is Pirate Mikey, Scrouge of the Seven Seas and One Kindergarten Class - ready to take on the legions of candy giving landlubbers with a hearty ARRRRRRR (and his mom and dad behind him reminding him even pirates need to say thank you LOL).

The creepiest thing about that 'limb', is that it was actually my brother in law's prosthetic. :giggle:

I am an old member of the SCA. I still have old outfits that I have passed down to my kids (they don't fit me anymore.) Next Purim (the Jewish halloween) I will post picture of my two in their costumes (actually we all get dressed up - even my wife and me).

she had to share her candy with her brother and her sister (even though my eldest doesn't live at home... there's a bag we've made up for her LOL) so in the end... she didn't get too much LOL

Cool I did not know about Purim! Very interesting to learn so much about cultural/religious/geographical differences of our members at BPNet. One of the nicest side benefits of this wonderful place. :)
