    How do I . . . .?
I was just wondering how do I make a banner like adams and whoever else advertises on the top of the site with Macromedia Fireworks 8 and/or Macromedia Flash 8? How do you make htings move and fly into the picture and things?

It would be hard to explain that over the internet. It takes a little time and experience. I recommend buying a book on Flash 8.

Flash, I would think. I don't know about anyone else, but to me, Fireworks (or Photoshop) is for graphic design, etc., and Flash is for animation.

The banners are not swf files(meaning they are not created using flash). You could use Photoshop to create your graphics and then use Adobe Image Ready or something similar to animate them.

Flash is easier and has more options, IMO, than ImageReady animation.

using raj's suggestion you can also save in .gif - which you have to in order to use animation. .jpg doesn't support animation.

.gif was created for animation, so yes, save in .gif if not using .swf or something similar. :P

I got my banner created but now since the whole banner is 180 frames so when I export it it saves it as 180 different seperate frames. How do I make it all in one so I can put it on my website?

That's not normal. There's a way to save it as a .swf instead of a .fla and not have it save 180 different files. Since I don't have Flash on this computer (I'm using my dad's laptop), I can't help you right now.

Hence the reason I suggested Image Ready or alike. Flash splits it up into several .gif files when you "export the movie." Personally, I like to stick with Image Ready for simple animations like ad banners. If you want to get into more animation intensive work, flash would be viable candidate.

I think I got it I will try tomorrow. I was exporting it as a .gif sequence so it has 180 sequences and now i tried it as .gif animated and i will try it tomorrow.

Only thing I would worry about this is file size and quality of the final product.

No, it'll work. You can't post it as an img, though. You have to embed it as an object.
