    Halloween!
Whats your costume? I dont know yet. Im probably going to just help out with the display at our church that my familiy is doing. We are using the snakes. And putting them on display. i am kinda worried about the stresss though. They will be sitting out there with me and my mom and dad and brother. So there not going to be alone. I might go as steve Irwin though .It depends.

I no longer dress up for Halloween but it's my favorite holiday by far.
I do make rounds of the local 'haunted houses' (the ones you pay to get into and the ones that are just stories) and of course I watch the horror movies. 99% of my almost 400 DVD collection is horror so I have no shortage though the 70's and 80's horror is my favorite.
I DO however dress up my dog. Poor thing, a Boxer/Pitt mix dressed up as Pippi Longstocking is so wrong.

I miss being home :( Here in WA I don't know anyplace so I'll probably just stay here and hand out candy to the trick or treaters.

    Have fun!!!

samhain (halloween) is our new year's eve... so it's a pretty important day in our home. plus my daughter turns 20 that say as well. she was born at 10:31 on 10/31

so we'll have some birthday celebrations, give our treats to the kids (sharing our harvest with them as this is the third and final harvest celebration of the year), and then we'll do some spell work, mediate and i'll do some readings for us all.

then, november 1st... we start a new year :) this and yule (december 21st) are my favorite nights of the year!

no way. my daughter is not getting posted here... you animals will be all over her like a wet dog! and honestly, she really dislikes (i'm being polite here actually LOL) our snakes so hearing that the snake forum i visit wishes her a happy birthday won't rock her boat

it has nothing to do with living in canada joe... i'm pagan and our new year begins nov. 1st as we follow the seasons rather than the gregorian calendar. ;)

oh man joe... see... this just goes to show you how much canadians know about the americans and yet the americans know so little about us

when i was down in the states on vacation when i was 13 - a girl asked me if i wanted her to teach me how to use a fork and knife so i wouldn't embarrass myself by eating with my fingers at their restaurants! she figured that since i was from canada... i didn't use cutlery!

Well, I'm not dressing up this year because I never found a party I'm interested in going to. But if I had found a good one, my best friend would have been Batgirl and I would have been Wonder Woman. LOVE the boots!

    Maybe next year!

We did go to the Dallas Scaregrounds last night, but I didn't dress for that.

Well, for any other horror movie fanatics Best Buy, Circuit City and Wal-Mart are all having good sales on horror DVDs. I got 'Halloween: 25 Years of Terror' for 5.00 at Circuit City. And my DVD collection has now surpassed 400. And I regularly find there is nothing to watch lol. How sad.
