More breeding pics
My males been going to town this year and its so exciteing to actually see the whole process from start to finish for the first time. I know I had eggs (well not me personally:cool: ) and incubated them last season but the female already was gravid when I got her. This looks to be the third time ive seen a lock from these 2. The female is the biggest one breeding this season at just over 2500+ grams.

yep, this is the worst pic of the male that ive taken but hes supossed to be an Axanthic and the female is possibly an IMG.

Re: More breeding pics
I won't turn this into a debate on color but I say you have two nice lookin normals there. Good luck on a nice size clutch!

I know, there was already a debate when I posted his pic the first time on here and the female, I asked Ralph about the weird color on her neck and hes the one that told me she looks to have some IMG going on.
Like I said earlier, this is the worst pic I have of the male, whenever hes with another snake when I get a pic they make him look real brown.
Heres the best pic I have of his color.

fulner If anyone else replies to you I'm sure you'll be informed that your husbandry practices sound seriously lacking.

Fist off welcome to the group:cool: .What she is basicly saying is by you keeping these snakes together constantly is not the proper way to house them. There is no positive reason to keep two snakes together unless during breeding time.I am sure others will chime in here with the same responses. You need to separate them and place each one in its own enclosure.Ball pythons are not social animals and become very stressed out when forced to live with multiple snakes. Are you 100% sure you even have a male and a female? I ask this because sometimes when snakes are forced to live together one will try to dominate the other. So what you think might be breeding could be one trying to dominate the other.I am not calling you stupid or anything here,i think whomever sold you those snakes might have also told you some improper ways to keep them happy. What i mean is since he had them together the whole time he had them tells me he did not know the proper ways to care for them.So i am happy you are a member here now as we will tell you the truth on properly caring for your ball pythons .Please ask any and all questions and we will answer them in a timely fashion:) .
