Few of my Boas

Re: Few of my Boas
WOW!! Thanks for sharing. It seems there aren't very many other boa keepers here. Those peruvians are sweet!!! I would love to see some more shots of them

Re: Few of my Boas
Thanks, and I've been trying to get some outdoor shots of those guys, it's just really hard. They don't really like to sit still, and are cbb/imports so they can be a tad fiesty. I'm gonna be trying to pair up the male with my big pastel female next season, that should produce some very nice offspring.

Love that 03 Pastel, you can clearly see she has some nice underlying color!
What are your plans with her?

Re: Few of my Boas
Beautiful snakes! Can I adopt one for free(joking)? I'd love to have a BC. I've never owned one yet, but I've added it to my wish list.:)

Very nice looking snakes.....I love to look at the bigger snakes...just don't think I could ever own one as they really scare the crap out of me:D

Re: Few of my Boas
Thanks for the compliments, the 03 pastel is one of my favorite snakes, and she's such a sweetheart too! The runt is actually the first boa I purchased, and as you can see the obsession has been growing.

I'm hoping next season to breed her with my peruvian male, hoping to work in some high BCC influence into the pastel, which should be great cause from the looks of her atleast one of her parents was a BCC animal.

Re: Few of my Boas
Thanks again! Great to see they're appreciated by more than me lol.
As for temperment, my peruvians were captive born and bred in iquitos peru and then imported. Because of this, the first year of their life they had very little human contact other than cage cleaning. They can be handable, but it required hook training and I still get a little nervous cause they have one hell of a feeding response! A nice CBB specimen should do just well for you though if you get it young and work with it. They really are spectacular animals...peruvian and suriname are my fav rtb's by far.
