All eat rodents except for the larger Eastern Hog.........it is a newly acquired snake though......so all in good time......LOL

cool, i always liked hogs but do not like the $$$$ involved in switching them over from frog and lizards and such. keep me posted on the switch.

Of course the westerns are easy.......they will usually take rodents right off....so will the Malagasy's........The easterns seem to be more of a challenge then the rest for sure.....I use a Leopard frog to scent.....seems to work out the best. I am in the process of finding feeder frogs/toads right now so I can vary the diet some.

i had caught an eastern while fishing in north carolina back in 97, but it ended up dying on me shortly after, but just before i found out lizards and frogs. it scared the hell out of me cause it flattend it head when i went to get him. lol

Well OKAY........yes they are venomous.........that is not really what I meant.....LOL.....I guess I should say it like this " our own little rear-fanged US cobras"......Sorry for any confusion there......
