Congrats on the bee! I definitely hopes he hatches out plump and healthy.

However, isn't 30 days a little early to be cutting the egg?

Don't know where 30 days came from, so I am guessing you are kidding around. This was day 52, and thanks everyone for the comments...we are pretty stoked, and will have more pics once this little one is out and about!!!

    Re: Could it BEE!?!?!
Oh, just caught where the 30 days came from, because I said that it was the only egg in the incubator for the last month. I only said that because this was by far our LAST clutch of the season, i.e. a whole month later than the second to the last clutch. It has been KILLING us waiting for this one egg. So ya, it had been incubating for a while before the other eggs in the incubator hatched, putting yesterday at day 52. Sorry for the confusion.

No problem with the confusion, I just thought it would've been a shame to see a beautiful bee die to being cut too soon. Definitely take more pictures when he/she pips.

    Congrats on the odds!

Thanks for the warm welcome, and yes Evan, you will have to come check him out sometime. Still crossing our fingers that he comes out good and healthy and all that (and hoping it is a male). And I don't know if Justin has signed up on here yet, but we will have to get him on here. I have done a bit of crusing around the forum, and it seems like a good group on here, and you'll hear more from us!!!
