super pastel x spider x axanthic = Axanthic Killer Bee

This is a homozygous pastel, dominant spider, homozygous axanthic ball python. Rock on!

super pastel het axanthic x spider het axanthic will produce this? What are the odds that the snake will carry all traits?

so first you have to breed two pastels to get a super

breed the super to the spider??

and then breed to axanthics to get super/spider/axanthic hets?

I know, I need to take some new pics. I'm going crazy getting caught up on stuff post-Tinley.

The AxKillers (AxMurderers?) above were produced from AxPastel to Bumble-het-Ax.

A Pastel/Spider/het-axanthic bred to a Pastel/het-axanthic could give you an Axanthic Killerbee. Not sure what the odds are on that, but they're long.

If you're starting with base morphs of pastel, spider, and axanthic....it would take multiple generations to pull it off. These "designer" morphs are expensive for a reason!! ;)

EDIT: Kara posted while I was trying to figure out how to type all this. LOL I should have mentioned this combo in my example is just ONE way of achieving the morph, and probably not the most effecient. :P

Very well put. Perspective: we hatched the first Spi & Bumble het Axanthics in '02, and didn't produce AxKillers or AxBees until 2006.

    Whiffing sucks! :D :taz: :rolleye2:

We need more perspective like this these days!! WAAYYYYY too often, it seems that people see these beautiful animals and think that they just happened within a few months of someone getting a cool idea for a new combo.

They look yellow to me. I would say bumblebees and not axanthic bees.

It might be, Kara might be able to shed some light on them. I took shots when the container was open and now I can't recall which ones these guys were. They were super bright though.
